Inspection Manager

There exists a fine line in every aviation company between the assurance of quality work and the financial stress associated with the labor intense nature of maintenance.

Limiting the 'Human Factors' in aviation maintenance is a constant struggle for the management team, Transport Canada and especially for the AME's maintaining the safety of their fleet. Particularly when dealing with aging aircraft whose evolving and revised inspection packages require as much research as actual inspection. As aircraft are operating farther from base, in harsher environments, and under tighter deadlines the cost of downtime increases as does the necessity for greater inspection diligence.

Inspection Manager is a product to address these issues and is the result of the cooperation between the aircraft industry expertise of BushTech Aviation and the software development experience of Zebra Projects Inc.

Inspection Manager was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic and is optimized for Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Access Databases on Microsoft Operating Systems including Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows 2003.

Inspection Manager is expected to be ready for general release during the second quarter of 2007 after field tests. Inspection Manager is being developed under a Microsoft Partnership program and will be certified by Microsoft before release.
